RecSou 記數 (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the RecSou 記數 mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and account recovery.
• Voice data: Audio recordings you make in the App are sent to a third-party service for transcription. We do not store audio on our servers — only the resulting text is retained.
• Expense data: The expense details you choose to save, including amount, currency, category, item description, date, and notes.
• Usage data: A count of voice recordings per month, used solely to enforce free-tier limits.
• Subscription data: Your subscription tier and expiration date. We do not store payment details — all payments are processed by Apple.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. The App contains no advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide and operate the App, including voice transcription, AI-powered categorisation, currency conversion, account management, and free-tier limit enforcement. We also use your email to send transactional messages such as password resets. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sale to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with third-party providers only as necessary to operate the App:

• Speech recognition provider: Receives voice audio for transcription. Audio is processed in real time and not permanently stored on our servers.
• AI provider: Receives transcribed text for expense categorisation. No audio, credentials, or financial details are shared.
• Subscription and payment providers: Manage subscription status and process payments. All payment transactions are handled by Apple through the App Store.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure credential storage on your device, and access controls that ensure each user can only access their own data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Voice audio is not stored — it is discarded immediately after transcription. You may delete individual expense records at any time, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated data from the App’s Settings.

6. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, and delete your data directly within the App:

• Export: Use “Export to Excel” in Settings to download all your expense records.
• Edit: Tap any expense to correct it.
• Delete: Delete your account and all data from Settings. This action is permanent and irreversible.
• Microphone: Revoke microphone access at any time via your device settings.

For any other privacy requests, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the App or on our website with a revised date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
